Magic

By Shraiya Mathur

I woke up today to chilly feet, And suddenly started missing the heat. December has struck, Winter has arrived.

Christmas feels just around the corner, I’m all set to dance under the 2019 banner. As the New year’s eve comes close, all of us ponder into a brand new resolutions’ dose.

Serious introspection make round, thinking about what we lost and what we found; of the victories and achievements; and the defeats and disappointments.

In this quagmire of thought, it’s very easy to get caught; to get tangled in the nostalgia-net, what’s gone is gone, no matter how much you fret.

When you’re just about to cede, A pinch of magic is all you need, to brighten your day, and add some sparkle if you may;

A pinch of magic is all you need, to muster up the courage, your potential you need to gauge;

A pinch of magic is all you need, to broaden your view, and appreciate the dew, A pinch of magic is all you need.
